For the Topping
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped maple pecans, orregular pecans
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup melted butter
Mix the 1st 3 ingredients together. Add melted butter stirring to make acrumble and set aside.
For the Streusel
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Mix a with a whisk and set aside.
For the Batter
DRY
- 3 ¾ cup remaining flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
Mix in a medium bowl. Set aside.
WET
- 1 ¼ cup whole milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Mix and set aside
- ¾ cup soft butter
- 1 ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
Place the butter and sugars in a stand mixer oruse a handheld electric mixer in a large bowl. Beat on high until creamy. Addeggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the flour in 1/3’rds,alternating with the milk.
